Company Sued over Jenkins' Background Check

The Canadian company that allegedly did a half-ass background check on convicted girlfriend-beater and accused wife-murderer Ryan Jenkins for the show "Megan Wants a Millionaire" is now being sued for letting him slip through the cracks.

In the lawsuit, filed by an investigative agency called Collective Intelligence, the agency says it was hired by the producers of "Megan" to perform criminal background checks on the show's possible contestants.

Since Jenkins was Canadian, Collective hired a Canadian company called Straightline International to do Jenkins' background check up north. Straightline allegedly told Collective that Jenkins was in the clear -- but in fact, he had been convicted of domestic assault on a girlfriend in 2007.

After "Megan" hit the airwaves, Jenkins allegedly murdered and dismembered his wife Jasmine Fiore -- and VH1 was forced to cancel the rest of the season, along with another show starring Ryan called "I Love Money 3."

In the suit, filed in Illinois, Collective claims its reputation has been ruined by the Jenkins fiasco, and is suing Straightline for breach of contract, negligence and fraud ... and wants at least $50,000.

Straightline has yet to get back to us.

Fiore Kissed Ex-Husband Days Before Murder

Just four days before she was brutally murdered, Jasmine Fiore shared a romantic moment on a Southern California beach with a man who wasn't her husband, Ryan Jenkins.

Jasmine Fiore
The man in the photos is Michael Cardosi --Jasmine's ex-husband -- a man who had been locked up in prison for the last three years.

The photos were taken on the day he was released from the slammer -- Tuesday, August 11.

In the pics, the two can be seen hugging, smiling, touching and even sharing a kiss. In the photo below, you can see she's not wearing her wedding ring.

Cardosi's mother, Winnie Humphreys, tells us the two were ecstatic to see each other during the two-day reunion -- adding Jasmine had kept in touch with Michael throughout his stint in prison.

Cops believe Jasmine was murdered by her husband, Ryan Jenkins, in the early hours on Friday, August 14. Cardosi was sent back to the slammer on Sunday, August 16 for violating the terms of his probation.

Buena Park police told us they don't know if Jenkins ever found out about Jasmine's time on the beach with her ex -- but cops tell us "jealousy was the most obvious motive for this murder."

Jenkins' Sister: 'Jasmine Was a Show Off'

Ryan Jenkins' sister, Alena, was just on "GMA" -- where they asked her, flat-out, about the photos we posted this morning of Jasmine Fiore kissing her ex-husband just days before her murder.

Alena Jenkins: Click to watch
Though she says she didn't know about Jasmine's ex, Alena said Ryan probably wouldn't have been surprised about the pics -- because Jasmine "was a bit of a show off" who "would quite often expose her breasts in public."

Also interesting: Alena refused to answer when asked if she drove Ryan to the hotel where he later killed himself.

Ryan Jenkins Did Not Leave a Suicide Note

Ryan JenkinsA lot of questions surrounding Jasmine Fiore's murder may have died with Ryan Jenkins -- cops say he didn't leave a suicide note in the motel room where he was found hanged.

Jenkins was found hanging from the coat rack in his room at the Thunderbird Motel in British Columbia on August 23, over a week after cops believe he murdered Jasmine in San Diego and then fled the United States.

Although cops didn't find a suicide note, they did find Jenkins' laptop in the room -- but it's yet to be determined if there is anything of significance on the comp.

Osbourne Accused of Nearly Crashing Server

This story will connect the following people --- Sharon Osbourne, Ryan Jenkins, Jasmine Fiore, Michael Jackson, Tommy Lee Jones ... and Kevin Bacon.

Osbourne Accused of Nearly Crashing Server

Let's start with Sharon -- who is being sued by a chick she "viciously attacked" on a VH1 special back in 2008 ... a chick named Megan Hauserman ... who later got her own reality show that starred Ryan Jenkins ... who probably killed Jasmine Fiore.

Megan just filed new papers against Osbourne, claiming Sharon almost killed a process server who tried to deliver legal papers to Ozzy's wife on April 20.

According to the new papers, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Megan claims the server "approached and was almost run over by defendant to the point where the papers were dislodged from the process server's hand."

So what's the connection to Jacko?

In the suit, Megan says the server tracked Sharon from her home in the very exclusive, private community of Hidden Hills, CA -- where Lisa Marie Presley used to live ... and she was married to Jacko ... who was in "Men in Black 2" with Tommy Lee Jones ... who was in "JFK" ... with Kevin Bacon.

Boom.
